Job Description Summary

#LI-Remote

As Executive Director, Enterprise Experience Planning & Integration, you will connect people, functions, and processes across Novartis—aligning Marketing, Patient Services, Medical, Advocacy, Access, Field Sales, Digital Engagement, and Enterprise Partnerships—to reduce fragmentation and deliver a seamless experience across the patient lifecycle. In this role, you will build the connective tissue across functions, lifecycle stages, and organizational boundaries by establishing governance, operating models, and ways of working that unite diverse stakeholders around shared priorities, translate enterprise strategy into coordinated execution and measurable outcomes, and create consistency with Integrated Experience Planning leads within the Customer Experience Planning & Optimization team. Success will require you to influence across a complex matrix without direct authority, strengthen organizational alignment, and advance a more connected One Novartis experience for patients, caregivers, and customers.

This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. This position will require up to 10% travel.

  • Support priority launches and enterprise initiatives requiring cross-functional coordination, maintaining alignment to shared customer and patient experience priorities from planning through execution.
  • Define and track shared customer and patient experience outcomes; provide visibility into enterprise adoption, alignment, and execution performance; and identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities requiring leadership attention.
  • Develop frameworks, processes, tools, transitions, and handoffs that strengthen cross-functional collaboration and coordination and enable scalable enterprise alignment and execution, while operating in accordance with Ethics, Risk and Compliance policies and procedures and ensuring others do the same.
