Description

The Executive Director, Engagement Lead is a senior leader within the Organizational Effectiveness Center of Excellence (OE CoE), responsible for leading high-impact organizational effectiveness engagements and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on complex transformation initiatives. This role helps enable enterprise strategy by translating organizational effectiveness principles into practical solutions that improve performance, efficiency, and scalability.

As a lead engagement owner, this position partners with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and COE stakeholders to design and deliver organizational design, operating model, and change solutions. The role establishes standards for engagement quality, stakeholder partnership, and delivery excellence across the OE portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Engagement Leadership & Enterprise Partnership
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex organizational effectiveness engagements, accountable for outcomes, quality, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping define organizational strategies aligned to business priorities.
  • Establish engagement scope, objectives, delivery plans, and governance.
  • Manage stakeholder alignment, risks, and competing priorities to ensure successful execution.
Organizational Design & Operating Models
  • Lead organizational design and operating model initiatives, including structures, governance, roles, decision rights, and ways of working.
  • Translate strategic objectives into practical, scalable organizational solutions.
  • Leverage workforce planning and analytics insights to inform recommendations.
  • Apply consistent methodologies while accommodating business-specific needs.
Change & Transformation Leadership
  • Design and lead change strategies for large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Drive leadership alignment and sponsorship to support adoption and sustained outcomes.
  • Oversee communication and engagement plans that build clarity, commitment, and momentum.
  • Connect change efforts to measurable business outcomes and value realization.
Engagement Delivery & Risk Management
  • Establish disciplined delivery practices, including planning, governance, milestone tracking, and quality assurance.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Ensure alignment across concurrent initiatives and prevent duplication or conflicting design decisions.
  • Maintain high standards for execution, quality, and results.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner with HRBPs to integrate organizational design and workforce planning into strategic initiatives and ongoing business operations.
  • Collaborate with People Experience Team leaders to ensure effective implementation and change adoption.
Team & Capability Leadership
  • Lead and develop Engagement Partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Coach team members to strengthen consulting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Model a pragmatic, results-oriented approach that balances strategy and execution.
  • Contribute to the evolution of OE methodologies, tools, and playbooks.

    • 12-15+ years of progressive HR, Organizational Effectiveness, or related experience.
    • Deep expertise in organizational design, operating models, and change management.
    • Proven success leading complex enterprise transformation initiatives from design through implementation.
    • Experience influencing senior leaders in a global, matrixed organization.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into actionable organizational solutions.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and stakeholder trust.
