What you'll do in the role: Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is seeking an Executive Director, Banking in New York, New York to be responsible for the origination and execution of bond deals across sector verticals including Transportation, Utilities, Basic Materials, Real Estate, Industrials, Insurance and Business Development Corporations. Advise clients on pricing and capacity for raising debt in the investment grade bond markets, and execute these deals involving distribution with a large number of institutional investors. Advise DCM bankers on the origination and structuring of complex transactions.
What you'll bring to the role:-Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Philosophy, or a related field of study
-Requires seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or seven (7) years as a Vice President, Associate, or a closely related occupation
-Requires six (6) years of experience with the following skills:
- Bloomberg Fixed Income analytics;
- regulatory and structural knowledge of financial institution debt structures;
- European debt markets;
- cash flow models;
- cross-currency and interest rate swap dynamics;
- advising companies on mergers and acquisitions financing;
- developing and maintaining relationships with institutional credit investors;
- executing Investment Grade bond transactions in a variety of market conditions, sectors, and structures;
- building a network with CFO and Treasury level contacts at IG companies;
- modeling fixed income securities;
- sector-specific expertise in Corporate and Financial sub-sectors Transportation, Utilities, Basic Materials, Real Estate, and Industrials;
- regulatory framework governing the corporate bond market.
-Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills:
-Requires: FINRA series 7, 63, and 79.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $300,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
