JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a team that protects millions of customers with a seamless experience. In this role, you will modernize how credentials are made available and governed so authentication stays strong, scalable, and easy to use.

As an Area product owner credential eligibility in Trust and security authentication, you lead the strategy and design of a modernized application that manages credential availability and risk-based eligibility rules across channels. You partner with engineering and design to deliver reusable platform capabilities, and you collaborate with fraud strategy and journey owners to prioritize roadmaps, measure performance, and retire legacy systems responsibly. You champion customer trust by setting clear outcomes and using data to guide continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities
  • Lead the availability and eligibility team and two agile delivery teams responsible for maintaining existing applications while designing and delivering a single modernized application.
  • Manage the rollout of new and enhanced credentials to support strong authentication needs and platform standards.
  • Drive transition of existing journeys and endpoints to enable broader credential access and support decommissioning of legacy systems.
  • Partner with risk strategy to define and deliver eligibility rules on required timelines.
  • Consult with journey product owners and design partners on credential and journey delivery to ensure a consistent customer experience.
  • Ensure strong delivery discipline across prioritization, inbound intake, backlog health, testing, release readiness, and production validation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Eight or more years of experience designing and delivering authentication, fraud, or security controls across digital and non-digital channels.
  • Product feature development and delivery experience in cloud environments.
  • Working knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology guidance and Fast Identity Online standards and how they influence credential design, delivery, and customer behavior.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute complex strategies across a portfolio, and communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in the customer identity and authentication domain within a financial institution, payment services provider, or relevant vendor.
  • Strong technology awareness, including mobile app patterns, threat and attack vectors, and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with agile product development and the software delivery life cycle.
  • Experience influencing teams that are geographically distributed and culturally diverse.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflict, make complex decisions using judgment and analysis, and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Familiarity with microservices, application programming interfaces, cloud technologies, and user interfaces.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, finance, business, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience modernizing authentication capabilities by migrating off legacy platforms while maintaining availability and controls.
  • Experience defining reusable platform services used across multiple channels and journeys.
