Full Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Compensation Consultant to join our Economic Damages & Valuation team. This individual will assist attorneys and other clients in IRS disputes, divorce cases, and other litigious matters, in addition to non-litigation consulting related to compensation strategies. You should be willing to provide expert opinions and testimony on matters related to current compensation, wage loss, future earning capacity, stock options, etc. Strong experience and background in benchmarking executive pay, deferred compensation, high-net worth divorce, and understanding of tax & regulatory requirements is essential.
Job Responsibilities
• Support forensic engagements in matrimonial litigation, including income analysis, lifestyle analysis, tracing of separate vs. marital property, and cash flow analysis.
• Oversee day-to-day case workflow, timelines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent matters across a variety of different industries.
• Provide technical guidance and review work product for quality and consistency.
• Contribute to staff training and professional development initiatives.
• Maintain current knowledge of developments in forensic accounting standards, executive compensation trends, family law, tax implications in divorce, and relevant case law.
• Deliver thought leadership on exec. compensation strategies, program architecture, and incentive plan design.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in executive compensation consulting, with meaningful focus on litigious matters.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Prior testimony experience is required.
• Experience managing engagements and supervising junior staff.
• Exposure to expert witness work and family law proceedings required.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills; ability to translate complex financial findings for legal audiences.
• Ability to review and synthesize large volumes of complex information and documentation.
• Ability to prepare written reports and deliver clear, concise, and defensible opinions.
• Comfortable presenting findings and providing testimony in depositions, arbitration, or court settings.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure, including in adversarial or high-stakes environments.
• Maintain professionalism, composure, and credibility while being questioned or challenged.
Preferred Qualifications
• CPA highly preferred but not required; Compensation credentials, such as CCP, CECP, etc. strongly preferred or actively in progress.
• Master's Degree.
Physical and Mental Job Qualifications
• Travel as needed.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $175k - $200k. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
