Fast-growing, YC-backed infrastructure startup is looking for an Executive Assistant to support their CEO & Founder. This is an incredible opportunity to join a fast-growing startup, backed by top-tier investors, at a stage where your impact is enormous. In this role, you'll own the CEO's calendar and inbox, managing a high volume of email with judgment on what's urgent versus what can wait, and helping keep him focused on the business. You'll also provide light personal support (appointments, deliveries, personal travel) and, in the short term, help find and set up a new SF office. Someone who is extremely resourceful, moves with a high sense of urgency, and thrives without needing every detail spelled out; someone with previous experience supporting a technical founder or executive at a high-growth startup is ideal. This is an in-office role, 5 days/week, based in San Francisco's Financial District. 140-170K DOE + equity, benefits, and 401K with match.
Responsibilities:
- Own the CEO's calendar, proactively resolving conflicts and clustering meetings based on shifting priorities.
- Manage the CEO's inbox with full visibility, contextualizing and prioritizing incoming email and drafting responses on his behalf where appropriate.
- Provide light personal support, including scheduling personal appointments, coordinating deliveries, and booking personal travel.
- Help identify and set up a new San Francisco office, and hold interim office management responsibilities until a dedicated hire is made.
- Serve as a proactive thought partner on how the CEO's time is spent, flagging conflicts and consequences before they become problems.
- Build trust and operate with increasing autonomy over time as you learn the CEO's working style and preferences.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience supporting a founder, CEO, or senior executive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Extremely resourceful and able to operate with a high sense of urgency in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment.
- Proactive and able to take initiative without needing every detail prescribed.
- Strong follow-through; able to close the loop on tasks and projects without requiring follow-up.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong judgment on prioritization.
- Comfortable staying aware of email outside of standard business hours, including occasional weekend check-ins.
- Proficient with Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and general productivity/scheduling tools.
- Excited to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity startup environment.
