Full Job Description
Chemours is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive, high-level administrative support to the SVP, Chief Financial Officer. This pivotal role also supports the VP, Head of Strategy and Investor Relations, ensuring seamless coordination across these critical business functions. This position will be based in our Wilmington, DE office and reports directly to the SVP, Chief Financial Officer.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills, the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive learner who is able to exercise independent judgment based on a broad knowledge of the business, and able to prioritize work to align with business priorities.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings and events, and arrange travel for senior executives.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and other confidential documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Serve as a liaison between executives and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Anticipate potential issues and address them before they escalate, allowing executives to focus on strategic initiatives.
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Partner with the Executive Assistants to coordinate activities and provide back-up support for other Executive Assistants as needed. Seek opportunities to assist the team beyond assigned tasks to continuously improve processes.
  • Increase effectiveness of Finance Leadership Team (FLT) by strategically and proactively scheduling, managing, and optimizing meeting cadence. Take ownership of meeting preparation and follow through, including agenda development, capturing key points during meetings, and follow-up on action-items.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations team to develop and implement efficient processes for planning and managing Investor Relations Conferences, including coordinating calendar availability, arranging travel logistics for participants, and recommending improvements to enhance overall conference execution.


The following is required for this role:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years' equivalent experience as an Executive Assistant, or similar role supporting senior (C-level) executives.
  • Demonstrated advanced level of virtual collaboration tools and Microsoft Office software packages (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint) with an ability to continuously learn new software and tools as required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external partners.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity by coping with change, making decisions without having the total picture and confidently handling risk.
  • Proven ability to make difficult and complex decisions using strategic reasoning, analytical skills, and effective problem-solving.
  • Strong communication (written/verbal) skills while working independently with minimal guidance, knowing when to escalate challenging situations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and resourceful with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, external partners, and other assistants.
