A Day in the Life
We are seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to support global supply chain leadership in a fast-paced, highly visible role that is critical to organizational success. This position will serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings across regions and time zones, preparing polished communications and business materials, arranging travel, processing expenses, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, discretion, and initiative, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, support special projects, improve administrative processes, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys working at the center of a global business, influencing operational effectiveness, and contributing to a high-performing supply chain organization.

This position is remote within the United States, with a preference for candidates located near a Medtronic site to support stronger cross functional collaboration and maintain our competitive advantage. This role will require 10-15% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
  • Provides general administrative support including preparing communications and maintaining schedules.
  • Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; arranging meetings and conferences; Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor's assignment.
  • Administers inter-department or inter-unit programs or processes.
  • May be responsible for coordinating travel and submitting expenses.

Nice to Have:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars, priorities, and scheduling across multiple time zones
  • Strong experience coordinating domestic and international travel and processing expense reports accurately and efficiently in SAP Concur
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare polished correspondence, presentations, and reports
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • Experience coordinating meetings, leadership events, and cross-functional activities across departments or regions
  • Ability to gather, compile, and summarize information to support leadership decision-making and operational planning
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with limited direction
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify process improvements and recommend more efficient ways of working
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience providing guidance, coordination, or day-to-day directions to junior team members is preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams


For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. A7 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$72,400.00 - $108,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
