Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced EV Service Fleet Manager to lead the development, growth, and day-to-day operations of our Amazon and commercial fleet service business. This role will oversee mobile service technicians, body repair operations, customer relationships, operational performance, and strategic business expansion. The EV Service Fleet Manager will be responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class mobile repair operation supporting Amazon's Electric Delivery Vehicle (EDV) fleet, while driving future growth into collision repair, additional fleet accounts, mobile charging services, and other commercial revenue streams.

A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fleet Operations Leadership
  • Lead all Amazon EV fleet service operations, ensuring exceptional service quality, vehicle uptime, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement specialized repair capabilities for Amazon and Rivian EV fleets utilizing deep knowledge of EV systems, service procedures, and fleet requirements.
  • Oversee daily mobile service operations, scheduling, dispatching, technician productivity, and repair quality.
  • Establish and maintain efficient 24/7 mobile repair operations designed to minimize vehicle downtime and maximize fleet availability.
  • Manage service performance metrics including response times, repair cycle times, first-time fix rates, technician utilization, and customer satisfaction.

Team Building & Development
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train EV service technicians.
  • Build the initial mobile service team consisting of 2-3 technicians and strategically scale the operation as business demand increases.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development opportunities.
  • Establish leadership structure and training programs that support rapid organizational growth.
  • Ensure technicians maintain required certifications, safety standards, and technical competencies.

Amazon Account Growth & Business Development
  • Serve as the primary operational lead for Amazon fleet relationships.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Amazon Fleet Managers, DSP operators, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct proactive customer outreach and business development activities to generate sustainable repair volume.
  • Position the company as a trusted service partner supporting Amazon fleet operations throughout the market.
  • Drive customer retention through exceptional service execution and operational reliability.

Operational Performance & Revenue Growth
  • Build and manage a high-performing fleet service operation targeting:
    • 5-8 repair orders (ROs) per van, per technician, per shift.
    • Strong first-time fix performance.
    • High technician productivity and efficiency.
    • Consistently excellent customer satisfaction scores.
  • Implement operational processes and performance standards that support profitable and scalable growth.
  • Collaborate with parts and inventory teams to develop efficient procurement, stocking, and distribution processes that maximize technician productivity and vehicle uptime.

Collision Center & Fleet Integration
  • Support the launch and growth of the company's Commercial Fleet Collision Center.
  • Develop strategic repair pathways that transition collision work from reactive repairs to planned fleet maintenance and repair programs.
  • Leverage existing fleet relationships and service operations to generate collision repair opportunities.
  • Create integrated repair solutions between mobile service, fleet maintenance, and collision operations.

Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute growth strategies that expand operations throughout the local market over the next 6-12 months.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion into neighboring regional markets.
  • Drive growth beyond Amazon by acquiring additional EV and internal combustion engine (ICE) fleet customers.
  • Establish relationships with municipal, commercial, logistics, and transportation fleet operators.
  • Evaluate market opportunities and develop scalable operational plans to support geographic expansion.

Strategic Business Development
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams that complement the fleet service business.
  • Leverage industry relationships to expand opportunities within:
    • Amazon Last Mile operations
    • Commercial fleet maintenance
    • Mobile charging services
    • Fleet consulting and operational support
    • EV infrastructure initiatives
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify, evaluate, and launch new fleet-related service offerings.

Safety & Compliance
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular safety reviews, audits, and corrective action planning.
  • Ensure all service operations are performed safely, efficiently, and consistently.


WE'RE LOOKING FOR A SELF-STARTER WHO MEETS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

Required
  • 5+ years of automotive, fleet service, or EV operations experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing technicians, service teams, or field operations.
  • Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, repair operations, and mobile service programs.
  • Demonstrated success managing customer relationships and commercial fleet accounts.
  • Proven ability to build teams, develop operational processes, and drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Preferred
  • Direct experience supporting Rivian EDV fleets and Amazon fleet operations.
  • Experience leading mobile service teams and field-based technicians.
  • Knowledge of collision repair operations and fleet body repair programs.
  • Experience scaling startup or growth-stage service operations.
  • Familiarity with fleet management software, service platforms, and KPI reporting.
  • Established relationships within Amazon, Rivian, or commercial fleet networks.
