Full Job Description
Lead the design and development of ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and architects to gather and analyze data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Create comprehensive source-to-target mapping (STM) documents, transformation rules, and data flow diagrams. Integrate data from various healthcare sources, including claims systems, EHRs/EMRs, HL7/FHIR feeds, and third-party vendors. Ensure data quality, validation, and cleansing processes are implemented within ETL pipelines. Guide and mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews and provide technical oversight. Work closely with QA and DevOps teams for ETL testing, deployment, and production support. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and apply best practices for handling PHI/PII. Maintain technical documentation including design specs, mapping docs, and deployment guides.
