Job Purpose / Summary

The Ethics & Compliance Specialist is responsible for advising, training, and auditing Geozone operations on all aspects of the enterprise ethics and compliance program. The role ensures effective implementation of policies, processes, and controls related to ethical business conduct and legal compliance, while supporting initiatives to identify, mitigate, and manage compliance risks.

This position partners with business leaders, Legal, HR, and corporate Compliance to promote a strong culture of integrity and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company standards across the Geozone.
Key Responsibilities
Safety, Security & Compliance
  • Uphold the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct, ensuring compliance with company Security, Compliance, HSE policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Promote Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) principles as core business values.
  • Support continuous improvement in compliance, risk mitigation, and governance practices across the Geozone.
  • Demonstrate strong safety leadership and ensure compliance standards are communicated and understood.
Quality
  • Ensure awareness of and compliance with the Company's Quality policies and Management System.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to ethical conduct, compliance controls, and operational integrity.
Compliance Operations
  • Advise business leaders and employees on ethics and compliance risks, policies, and procedures.
  • Deliver formal and informal compliance training and day-to-day guidance.
  • Lead and support internal compliance investigations, including remediation actions and disciplinary recommendations.
  • Assist in compliance integration efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and third-party relationships.
  • Support execution of compliance due diligence for third parties, intermediaries, and strategic transactions.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, enforcement trends, and industry best practices impacting the business.
  • Participate in compliance-related projects and initiatives, as assigned.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety rules, and standards of conduct.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, external parties.
  • Clearly communicate compliance expectations, roles, and responsibilities across the organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to promote a consistent and transparent compliance culture.
Financial Responsibility
  • Ensure compliance activities and expenses align with approved budgets and financial policies.
  • Demonstrate financial accountability in managing expenses and resources.
People & Development
  • Support leadership engagement in talent management processes, including performance management and coaching.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Training & Development to reinforce ethical behavior and compliance culture through workforce development initiatives.
Vision & Leadership
  • Demonstrate ethical leadership and adherence to company values and standards at all times.
  • Serve as a role model for integrity, accountability, and professional judgment.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Education
  • 3-5 years of experience in Ethics, Compliance, Legal, or a related discipline.
  • Background in the oilfield services or industrial sector preferred.
  • Legal or regulatory compliance experience strongly preferred.
  • Compliance-related certification (e.g., ethics, compliance, legal) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Arabic or another additional language is an advantage.
