Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The primary objective of this position is to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that budgets align with project requirements and scope, particularly in the areas of reconstruction, commercial, and multifamily developments.
Key Responsibilities- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for projects to deliver comprehensive bids.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure all aspects of the project are considered in estimates.
- Monitor project costs and budgets, providing updates and recommendations as necessary.
- Maintain a database of cost information to enhance future estimating accuracy.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, particularly in reconstruction and commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and cost control processes.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
