Position Description:

CGI is seeking an ERP Technical Analyst to join our collaborative team supporting a large-scale ERP solution for a long-term government client. We are looking for a customer-focused professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, improving business processes, and helping organizations maximize the value of their enterprise technology investments.

Location: This position is based in Los Angeles, CA. CGI supports a hybrid work model, with team members typically working onsite approximately one day per week.

In this role, you'll partner with business users, developers, architects, and client stakeholders to support, maintain, and enhance a mission-critical financial management system. You'll play an integral role in resolving production issues, supporting enterprise integrations, improving reporting capabilities, and delivering innovative technology solutions that help our client better serve the public.

Beyond day-to-day application support, you'll have opportunities to contribute to modernization initiatives involving enterprise reporting, API integrations, SaaS applications, Microsoft Power BI, automation, and digital transformation efforts. Your future duties and responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact

You will serve as a trusted technical partner responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of a large-scale enterprise ERP environment. You'll collaborate closely with both technical and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions while supporting mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical and functional support for a mission-critical ERP application in a production environment
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application issues while delivering exceptional customer service to business users and client stakeholders
• Partner with business users to understand operational challenges and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
• Investigate, document, reproduce, and coordinate resolution of software defects with development teams
• Plan and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, integration testing, and release validation activities
• Assist with application configuration, deployments, system enhancements, and post-production support
• Support enterprise integrations through APIs and related technologies to improve interoperability and streamline business processes
• Participate in enterprise reporting initiatives, including report migration, validation, and modernization efforts
• Support the migration of reports from SAP BusinessObjects to Microsoft Power BI
• Perform SQL-based data analysis to support troubleshooting, testing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, operational procedures, and support documentation
• Support SaaS-based enterprise applications and related integrations across the ERP ecosystem
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation supporting critical production environments
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance application stability and client satisfaction
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the application support organization

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring
• 3+ years of experience supporting ERP or other large-scale enterprise applications
• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues while working directly with business users and client stakeholders
• Experience partnering with software development teams to investigate, prioritize, and resolve application defects
• Strong understanding of ERP application architecture, configuration, data structures, and system behavior
• Experience documenting business requirements, software defects, technical solutions, and operational procedures
• Experience planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration testing, regression testing, and release validation
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting client-facing initiatives in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Willingness to participate in a shared on-call rotation (approximately one week every six weeks)

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
• Experience with CGI Advantage or other enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience supporting public sector or government clients
• Functional knowledge of financial management, procurement, budgeting, grants management, or related ERP modules
• Experience with enterprise reporting platforms such as SAP BusinessObjects, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or BIRT
• Experience supporting report migration, report validation, dashboard development, or analytics modernization initiatives
• Experience performing SQL-based data analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and enterprise reporting support
• Experience supporting enterprise integrations using APIs, ETL tools, middleware, or web services
• Experience with SaaS enterprise applications and cloud-based technologies
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or GitHub
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), preferably UiPath
• Experience supporting enterprise modernization or digital transformation initiatives

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $77,800.00 - $172,400.00.
