ERP Architect (Manufacturing, Data & Integration)

Description

The Infor Data Management Architect supports the business plan by enabling sustainable growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving client satisfaction. This position ensures the organization can manage increasing project demands without overburdening the team while maintaining high-quality delivery and effective risk management. The Data Management Architect is responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that facilitate effective data management, analysis, and utilization. This role ensures that data systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with the project goals.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Architecting scalable solutions for data conversions, migrations, and integrations across multiple systems.
  • Ensuring seamless data flow between legacy and modern platforms during transitions.
  • Designing optimized data pipelines in collaboration with data engineers.
  • Developing policies and frameworks for data management, security, and compliance.
  • Ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Analyzing legacy systems and design strategies for efficient data transformation and migration.
  • Providing technical guidance for mapping, cleansing, and validating data throughout the migration process.
  • Creating detailed documentation and support training for post-migration operations.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with functional aspects of ERP products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in data architecture, migrations, or conversions.
  • Experience with data integration tools and platforms (e.g., Talend, Informatica, MuleSoft).
  • Experience with data modeling and relational databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Exposure to ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience with data governance principles and compliance regulations.
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America (US and Canada) 50% or more.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Infor CloudSuite Applications (M3, LN, Lawson, FSM, GHR).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, or DAMA-DMBOK).
  • Experience in large-scale data migration or conversion projects in healthcare, finance, or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing.
  • Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and automation.
