Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Five years of experience trading at a financial services firm focused on Latin America.
• Strong knowledge of equities and investment products such as cash equities, ETFs, and ADRs.
• Understanding of trading regulations in Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico.
• Experience with cross-border trading and fund flow implications in Latin America.
• Familiarity with TOMS, Fidessa, Tropical, and Bloomberg trading systems.
• Willingness to obtain Series 7 and 63 licenses if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Execute equity trades on behalf of clients.
• Evaluate financial market conditions and devise responsive strategies.
• Gather and synthesize macro-economic and political data for international investors.
• Liaise with Latin American equities teams to disseminate market insights.
• Analyze equity investments and associated risks for clients and investors.
• Prepare investment recommendations and advise clients on opportunities in Global Markets.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with institutional clients.
