Position Summary: Jefferies is seeking a Senior Associate/VP for its Semiconductor and Semiconductor Cap Equipment Equity Research team, which covers 30+ stocks. The candidate will support the Equity Research team in delivering extensive company and industry research, constructing detailed company and industry financial models, and marketing written research recommendations to clients and institutional salespeople.

Responsibilities will include:
• Creation and maintenance of earnings and valuation models
• Analysis of Industry trends and compilation of findings
• Production of weekly and monthly written research publications
• Develop marketing materials for clients
• Development of relationships with management teams and industry contacts
• Over time, communication of stock views and industry themes to institutional investors, trading desks, and other internal constituencies within Jefferies

Key qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, economics, electrical/computer engineering, finance, math, or other quantitative fields
• 3-6 yrs. of experience in Equity Research or Investment Banking experience a plus
• Semiconductor industry or research experience is a plus
• High fluency in accounting and financial statement analysis
• Superior financial statement modeling skills with demonstrated self-auditing abilities
• Highly detail-oriented. Strong work ethic with a focus on teamwork
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intellectual interest in equity markets and technology

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135,000 - $175,000.
