Job Description Summary:

Position Summary

The Equipment Sales & Service Analyst is responsible for supporting FSOP' s end-to-end management of equipment sales, service and lease transactions, asset accountability, billing accuracy, and system integration processes. This role serves as a key subject matter expert (SME) for JDE (equipment management systems) and processes, partnering across Sales, Billing, Asset Management, Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure timely billing, financial accuracy, and operational excellence. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration, and expertise in managing equipment-related transactions and system exceptions across multiple enterprise platforms, including JDE, SAP, P40, and Thirsty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage equipment sales and lease orders throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Review and resolve aged equipment work orders to ensure timely closure and accurate reporting.
  • Serve as the SME for the JDE application, including training and support for Sales Support teams.
  • Support Account Teams on customer projects and equipment-related initiatives.
  • Manage unreturned equipment reporting and asset recovery efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze an open order report containing over 88,000 records to identify exceptions and drive resolution.
  • Investigate and coordinate resolution of interface issues between JDE, Thirsty, SAP, and P40.
  • Perform asset reconciliations and equipment sales invoicing to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Monitor daily system batch processing and resolve transaction failures impacting asset and financial records.
  • Partner with Billing, Asset Management, Sales Support, Finance, Operations, and IT to resolve complex issues and maintain process continuity.
  • Provide critical institutional knowledge and operational expertise, including support for the upcoming JDE replacement initiative.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in billing operations, order management, asset management, customer operations, finance operations, or related business functions.
  • Experience working with ERP and enterprise business systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including large data set analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with JDE, SAP, P40, Thirsty, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of equipment asset management and order-to-cash processes.
  • Experience supporting system integrations, data reconciliations, and issue resolution.
  • Experience training end users and serving as a business process SME.
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or ERP transformation projects.
  • Experience supporting technology, digital, or emerging technology teams to operationalize complex solutions.
