Position SummaryThe Epicor ERP Analyst is the functional and technical owner of the Company's Epicor (Kinetic) platform. This role configures, supports, and continuously improves Epicor across finance, supply chain, and manufacturing-translating business needs into ERP solutions, building reports and customizations, and driving adoption. It is a high-impact opportunity to shape the system of record for a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for Epicor (Kinetic), spanning finance, inventory, purchasing, production, scheduling, and quality modules.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and configure Epicor to support manufacturing and financial processes.
- Build and maintain BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, reports (SSRS / Epicor reporting), and functions / customizations.
- Manage data integrity, integrations, and interfaces between Epicor and other business systems.
- Lead testing, upgrades, patching, and deployment of new Epicor functionality.
- Develop documentation, training, and end-user support to drive adoption and standardization.
- Partner with finance and operations on cost accounting, BOM/routing, MRP, and shop-floor data accuracy.
- Support ERP-related controls and data handling consistent with ITAR and CMMC requirements.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP experience (ERP 10 / Kinetic) in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency building BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, and SSRS / Epicor reports.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (BOM, routing, MRP, scheduling) and cost accounting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Aerospace & defense or other complex / regulated manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Epicor upgrades or implementations.
- SQL, .NET, REST/API, or Epicor Functions experience.
- Familiarity with ITAR/EAR and CMMC data-handling considerations.
Compensation & BenefitsBase salary range of $160,000 - $190,000, commensurate with experience, plus medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and paid time off. The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this role in California; actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
