Job Description

We are looking for an Epic Payer Platform Analyst to configure, roll out, and support assigned Epic Payer Platform applications. This position will be Full-Time and remote.

What You’ll Do

  • Business/Systems Analysis: Conduct business and systems analysis to define requirements and document processes

  • System Design and Implementation: Design, build, test, implement, and support Epic Payer Platform software to meet user needs

  • Problem Resolution: Work with end-users to identify and resolve system issues

  • Workflow Optimization: Develop and document workflow analysis while evaluating user experience. Support and maintain environment or applications using knowledge of the applications and technologies in the environment, while recommending enterprise-level solutions

  • System Maintenance and Updates: Configure changes within the Epic environments to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows. Make decisions that refine and improve current practices and develop new approaches, including researching and assessing new technologies or functionality

  • Project Management: Contribute to and manage medium to large projects independently, providing timely updates to stakeholders

  • Problem Solving: Use analytical skills (problem solving, root cause analysis) to complete complex assignments. Visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems. Independently initiate process improvement

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5-7+ years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules

  • Epic Application Certification/Accreditation

  • Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks.

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Knowledge of project management principles

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a relevant field; 5 years healthcare industry experience, preferably in the insurance segment, in lieu of degree

  • Epic certification in one or more Payer Platform modules (e.g., Payer Platform Core, Payer Platform Member Experience, Tapestry) strongly preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Epic Payer Platform solutions in a healthcare setting

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$50-$52 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
