Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Epic Data Steward, you are responsible for managing the quality and integrity of Provider and Department Record data within the Electronic Medical Record (Epic).Every day you will independently maintaining data accuracy and establish clear data definitions. Leading the build process for all new Provider records, managing the decommissioning of Providers or Departments leaving the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, and acting as a point of contact for data-related issues.

 

To be successful in this role, you will serve as a Project Manager and Market Liaison, responsible for new department builds or changes facilitated by the CARES Team or IDEA projects.

  • Collaborate with Market Network Integrity Coordinator, Hospital Med Staff, and CIN leadership to maintain Provider Network Affiliation within the Provider/Resource Dictionary (SER) Record. Perform Network Integrity audits on a regular cadence to ensure data accuracy
  • Serve as point-of=contact for issues related to Provider Resource Dictionary (SER) Record and/or the Department Record (DEP). Identify issues, troubleshoot and implement improvement plans to address identified issues. Effectively communicate with stakeholders and management, risks and timelines of identified issues
  • Monitor and manage the quality of datasets within Epic and interfaced systems, correct inconsistencies, and develop strategies for data accuracy
  • Manage onboarding templets (RBAC) to insure correct end user access for all MHPF position
  • Work with various stakeholders, including IT teams, Epic users, and leadership, to resolve Epic and integrated systems data challenges, share knowledge, and raise awareness of best practices
  • Support Epic data integration initiatives and ensure data consistency across systems, identify opportunities for data consolidation and standardization
Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelors Other or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, upon hire 
  • 2 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Clinical, operational, or application support and implementation 
  • Experience working with project life-cycle
  • EPIC Certification, upon hire

Preferred

  • Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical-related industry
