Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Epic Application Analyst Resolute Claims initiates the implementation, builds, and modifies of the application, and collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, vendors and application team members to optimize the application's configuration, function, and access. Utilizing knowledge of billing, claims, and remittance operations, the Resolute Claims analyst will lead, coordinate, review, analyze, and maintain Epic systems, including specification gathering, configuration, testing, modification, activation and ongoing support.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Epic Certifications in one or more Epic applications (required within 90 days of hire)
Experience:- Familiarity with legal requirements and operational policies related to patient and family privacy practices
- EHR Configuration and Build Experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:- Knowledge of system development methodology and principles of project management.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of billing and claims systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff.
- Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
License/Certification/Registration:- None required

ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Acting as the primary support contact for the application's end-users
- Identifying issues that arise in their application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and working to resolve them
- Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software
- Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system
- Serving as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff
- Maintaining regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings
- Working with Epic representatives, your organization's business community, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs in regards to the project deliverables and timeline
- Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessions
- Participating in training and working with end users
- Troubleshooting problems and questions
- Reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership
