The position translates permit conditions and environmental commitments into actionable compliance requirements; develops project-specific compliance plans, procedures, and tools; coordinates with engineering, construction, operations, legal, and environmental teams; and verifies that required inspections, monitoring, documentation, reporting, and corrective actions are completed. The role also supports agency coordination, contractor compliance, field issue resolution, and the transition of environmental obligations to operating assets. Senior specialists lead compliance strategy, complex issue resolution, and agency engagement, while mid-level specialists support plan development, field execution, documentation, and tracking.
