Full Job Description
Summary

Alliance Technical Group is hiring an Environmental Scientist III/IV to join our team in Bryant, AR. The primary function of this position is to support our environmental, regulatory and water resources projects as they relate to industrial facility compliance. Key disciplines will include NPDES permitting, stormwater management, SPCC, environmental sampling (multimedia), data analysis, report preparation and some project management and client interaction.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Prepare NPDES applications for initial permitting, as well as renewal, and/or modification of existing permits.
  • Prepare Spill Prevention Countermeasure and Control Plans which could include field data collection and verification.
  • Prepare industrial SWPPP and manage stormwater for such projects.
  • Work individually and in a team on stormwater related projects that require obtaining construction and industrial permits. Responsibilities will also include preparation of Notice of Intents; work associated with erosion and sediment control and stormwater sampling.
  • Complete complex environmental sampling.
  • Participation in information gathering at industrial facilities.
  • Prepare technical documents, complete data analysis and review/edit the work products of other employees. Proficient use of MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook will be required. The desire and ability to learn other programs may be necessary.
  • Develop proposals, interact with clients, manage projects and complete invoicing on associated projects.
  • Communication with project teams, clients in the office and on-site and regulatory agencies.
  • Personal management of time and tasks including clear communication with team.
  • Other responsibilities as necessary in supporting the Alliance team.

Pay Range

$75k-100k+, depending on experience

Required Education & Experience

Education: BS Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Ecology, or related fields

Experience: 6 - 13+ years in Environmental Consulting
