Environmental Practitioner / Project Manager - Permanent, FT Office Location: Port Moody, BC. We are also open to consideringcandidates based out of our other office locations, as well as fully remotearrangements for the ideal candidate.Pay Range: $48.08 to $72.11 (Approximately $100,00 to $150,000 per annum). Compensation is dependent on experience level, educationand overall suitability for position. OverviewThe primary function of the Environmental Practitioner / Project Manager is to coordinate and / or manage a variety of environmental site assessment and remediation projects across BC.
Your Key Responsibilities - Client communication.
- Prepare work plans and cost estimates.
- Manage remediation and reclamation environmental field work programs.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of proposals.
- Mentor and train staff; ensure work is done safely and correctly.
- Manage, review and sign-off on technical reports.
- Liaise with regulators, contractors and other third parties.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
- Maintain billable targets as set by CEO.
- Undertake occasional travel to Calgary, Fort St. John, Port Moody, or other destinations as needed.
- Provide excellent levels of service to our internal and external clients.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications for Environmental Professional / Project Manager - 8+ years of relevant contaminated sites/reclamation experience in environmental consulting in BC, with 4+ years of project management experience.
- Technical diploma or degree in a related discipline.
- Possesses a recognized accredited professional designation (e.g., P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Chem, P.Ag. etc.) recognized in BC, or the ability to acquire one.
- Experience in contaminated sites, with extensive knowledge of BCER Regulations.
- Experience in managing technically complex projects, working with a dynamic team, and overseeing cost controls.

- Experience managing and working with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Reliable attention to details that matter most, accuracy driven, and professional organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
