Full Job Description
Environmental Practitioner / Project Manager - Permanent, FT

Office Location: Port Moody, BC. We are also open to consideringcandidates based out of our other office locations, as well as fully remotearrangements for the ideal candidate.

Pay Range: $48.08 to $72.11 (Approximately $100,00 to $150,000 per annum). Compensation is dependent on experience level, educationand overall suitability for position.

Overview

The primary function of the Environmental Practitioner / Project Manager is to coordinate and / or manage a variety of environmental site assessment and remediation projects across BC.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Client communication.
  • Prepare work plans and cost estimates.
  • Manage remediation and reclamation environmental field work programs.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of proposals.
  • Mentor and train staff; ensure work is done safely and correctly.
  • Manage, review and sign-off on technical reports.
  • Liaise with regulators, contractors and other third parties.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
  • Maintain billable targets as set by CEO.
  • Undertake occasional travel to Calgary, Fort St. John, Port Moody, or other destinations as needed.
  • Provide excellent levels of service to our internal and external clients.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications for Environmental Professional / Project Manager

  • 8+ years of relevant contaminated sites/reclamation experience in environmental consulting in BC, with 4+ years of project management experience.
  • Technical diploma or degree in a related discipline.
  • Possesses a recognized accredited professional designation (e.g., P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Chem, P.Ag. etc.) recognized in BC, or the ability to acquire one.
  • Experience in contaminated sites, with extensive knowledge of BCER Regulations.
  • Experience in managing technically complex projects, working with a dynamic team, and overseeing cost controls.
  • Energy, intelligence, and integrity. Your drive for exceptional client experience is relentless.
  • Experience managing and working with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Reliable attention to details that matter most, accuracy driven, and professional organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
