Full Job Description
Candidates must be licensed to practice in New York State or eligible to waive into the New York State Bar and should have four to eight years of experience and expertise in project permitting and siting, including NEPA and SEQRA, transactional due diligence, and compliance and enforcement matters. Candidates should have experience with environmental statutes including Superfund/CERCLA, CWA, CAA, ESA, MBTA, and the New York State Environmental Conservation Law, as well as experience interfacing with resource agencies including USEPA, USACE, USFWS, and NYSDEC.
Experience in the energy industry and with wildlife and rare, threatened, and endangered species would be a plus.
Salary Range: $120,000 to $175,000.
This salary range represents the firm's good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for the position and does not include performance- or merit-based bonuses or other benefits offered by the firm. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
