Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a driven, self-motivated professional to elevate their career by assuming a business development role within our mining market sector. The candidate will have a proven reputation for excellence in consulting delivery, client management and business development. Reporting directly to Mining Sector Lead, the candidate will be an integral member of our leadership team, and will help shape Arcadis' growing impact across various regions by leveraging their knowledge of the Mining sector.

Role accountabilities:

The successful candidate will lead multiple major and mid-tier accounts, expanding business development opportunities and client relationships to strategically grow Arcadis' Mining portfolio. They will coordinate with other Arcadis business lines to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and grow the business.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients by crafting and delivering tailored solutions, leading teams in preparing winning proposals, and delivering successful presentations; negotiate critical issues with clients, potential teaming partners, and subconsultants
  • Overseeing the planning, design, and construction administration of projects to ensure the delivery of quality services and deliverables within project schedules
  • Collaboratively developing scope and cost proposals for projects and task orders; contribute to the strategic growth, planning, and support of various key market initiatives throughout the region
  • Supporting the development of junior and mid-level staff
  • Travelling to project sites and client meetings as required.
  • Effective client relationship skills with a successful track record of positioning, pursuing, and winning projects in the Mining sector
  • Strong technical skills and clear, concise written and oral communication abilities.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking; proven ability to deliver key financial performance, including growth in annual net bookings and net revenue
  • Proficient in professional discipline, project management, and client engagement; able to lead and manage internal projects from inception to completion, ensuring the achievement of required delivery standards

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Mining sector
  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering Degree in (Environment, Chemical, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Process, Mechanical, Geotechnical or Civil)
  • PE or PG license in good standing

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $113933-222739. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
