Full Job Description
Troutman Pepper Locke's Environmental and Natural Resources Practice Group is seeking an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our Richmond, VA office.

Ideal candidates will have experience in state energy regulatory proceedings before state public utility commissions (primarily Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia), including administrative litigation and related appeals to civil courts. Candidates should be comfortable reviewing and drafting testimony, presenting witnesses, cross-examining opposing witnesses, drafting legal motions and briefs, performing legal research, participating in the discovery process, commenting on proposed rules, and reviewing and drafting legislation. Applicants should also be familiar with environmental regulatory programs.

We are seeking highly motivated candidates with superior academic credentials. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state of Virginia, with licensure in Maryland and/or West Virginia is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $350,000 dependent on relevant years of experience.
