Sr. Scrum Master for a on-site opportunity in Columbia, SC. Candidate will lead Agile Scrum processes for enterprise-level technology initiatives while supporting cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality solutions on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will serve as a facilitator, coach, and collaborator who can drive continuous improvement and help remove obstacles impacting team success.
Required Qualifications of the Sr. Scrum Master:- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
- 3+ years of experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, standups, and backlog refinement
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
- 3+ years of experience using Agile project management tools and methodologies
- 3+ years of experience supporting hybrid Agile and Waterfall project environments
- 3+ years of experience with database querying and programming concepts
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Must currently reside in South Carolina or be willing to relocate prior to start date at own expense
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Sr. Scrum Master:- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or related Agile certification
- Experience working within government or public-sector environments
- ERP implementation or support experience
- Experience coaching teams through Agile transformation and process improvement initiatives
Responsibilities of the Sr. Scrum Master:- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
- Remove roadblocks and impediments to support team productivity and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful project execution
- Track project progress, delivery metrics, risks, and key performance indicators
- Promote Agile best practices and encourage continuous improvement across teams
- Support delivery of high-quality solutions while ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
Work Location: Fully onsite in Columbia, South Carolina. Remote work is not available for this position. Contract duration is anticipated to be 12 months with possible extension.
