Position Summary

As the Enterprise Business Analyst, you'll work with technical and business stakeholders to facilitate the development of business requirements, lead business process redefinition studies, and analyze the use of new technology for new or enhanced systems services. You'll serve as the primary liaison between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders, translating business objectives and operational requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications that support software development, system configuration, integration, and implementation activities.

You'll also interact with business users to assure a mutual understanding and agreement on requirements and specifications while collaborating directly with technical staff to resolve requirement ambiguities, evaluate alternative solution approaches, and ensure traceability between business needs, technical requirements, and delivered functionality. In addition, you'll assess the technical feasibility of proposed solutions, identify impacts to existing applications and integrations, balance business priorities with technical constraints, and recommend solution approaches that support enterprise architecture, operational sustainability, and strategic objectives.

This position requires expert knowledge of business systems analysis, software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, requirements management, and technical documentation practices, as well as mastery of principles, methods and practices in the business area.

Salary Information

This position is in classification IS Business Automation Consultant/Admin (pay schedule/range 07-32), with an annual salary of $102044 - $120286, plus excellent benefits.

Pay for current and new state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan in effect at the time of appointment.

Job Details

ETF offers hybrid remote/office work. If interested in hybrid remote/office work, this can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. The selected employee(s) must report to ETF's office on the first day of employment. In addition, the employee may need to report to ETF on short notice as operational needs require. All employees are expected to be headquartered and work within the state of Wisconsin.

ETF does not sponsor work visas. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.

Qualifications

Minimally Qualified candidates will have experience in all of the following :

  • Performing business and systems analysis for technical projects (e.g., gathering requirements, performing data analysis, evaluating solutions, etc.)
  • Using process mapping technology to create process models, workflow diagrams, etc.
  • Utilizing Agile Scrum methodology in a software development life cycle (SDLC) environment
  • Leading and/or collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT development teams, business stakeholders, etc.)

In addition, Highly Qualified candidates will also have experience with some of the following :

  • Business analysis certification (e.g., CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.)
  • Performing business analysis for enterprise projects with significant scope and/or duration (e.g., several workstreams, impacting large populations, multi-year timeframe, etc.)
  • Using Business Process Management (BPM) to improve business processes and/or operational efficiency
