Velociti is seeking an experienced
Enterprise Architect to define and drive the technology vision across our organization. This role sits at the center of strategy and execution-ensuring our systems, infrastructure, and emerging AI capabilities are cohesive, scalable, and aligned with business growth.
You will play a critical role in shaping architecture across
applications, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence, guiding both long-term direction and day-to-day technical decisions.
What You'll DoDefine Enterprise Architecture Strategy- Establish and evolve Velociti's enterprise architecture framework, standards, and roadmap across SaaS, IT infrastructure, and AI
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including current and future state models, integration patterns, and system blueprints
- Align architecture strategy with business goals in partnership with IT leadership and stakeholders
- Lead governance processes including design reviews, technology selection, and technical debt management
Lead Application & Integration Architecture- Own application architecture across core platforms including Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and custom applications
- Design scalable integration patterns, APIs, and data pipelines across internal and external systems
- Provide architectural oversight for development initiatives to ensure maintainability, scalability, and security
Drive Infrastructure & Security Architecture- Define architecture standards for cloud and hybrid environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Establish best practices for identity and access management, network segmentation, and endpoint management
- Guide security architecture using zero trust principles, Conditional Access, and secure access strategies
- Partner with security teams to ensure alignment between architecture and security posture
Lead AI Strategy & Governance- Architect and guide Velociti's enterprise AI strategy, including generative AI and automation solutions
- Define governance frameworks for AI usage, including access controls, data handling, and risk management
- Establish standards to mitigate shadow IT and ensure compliance with evolving regulations
- Design AI-enabled workflows using Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and approved third-party platforms
Collaborate & Influence- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, including the CIO and VP of Technology Delivery and Governance
- Lead architecture review sessions and cross-functional alignment discussions
- Mentor engineers and technical teams, providing guidance and direction
- Communicate complex architecture concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

What You BringRequired- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in architecture or senior technical leadership
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
- Strong experience designing integration architectures (APIs, middleware, event-driven systems)
- Knowledge of identity and access management and zero trust security models
- Experience establishing AI governance programs and controls
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership
- Ability to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and priorities
Preferred- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification (AZ-305 or equivalent)
- Experience with Salesforce architecture and integrations with Azure
- Familiarity with Microsoft security and compliance tools (Purview, Defender, Intune)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Exposure to AI/ML platforms, including Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot
- Enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF or SABSA
Work Environment- On-site role based in Riverside, MO
- Standard office setting with extended computer use
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work during major initiatives or critical events
