Full Job Description
The Enterprise Architect role is pivotal in enhancing and maturing the existing ServiceNow platform. This position focuses on optimizing implementations across ITSM, ITOM, IT Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, CMDB/Configuration Management, Change Management, and Virtual Agent. The architect will evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, define the target state, and design scalable solutions that align with enterprise objectives. The role involves guiding configuration and integration efforts, establishing governance best practices, improving data quality and workflows, and developing a strategic roadmap to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

What you'll do:
  • Design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with the organization's IT strategy.
  • Develop and own the roadmap for platform maturation and architectural standards.
  • Guide technical architecture and design, ensuring efficiency, quality, and security of technical products and solutions.
  • Facilitate solution design sessions, conduct code reviews, and advocate ServiceNow best practices.
  • Optimize ITSM processes including Incident, Service Request, and Problem Management.
  • Enhance ITOM capabilities such as service discovery, event management, and service mapping.
  • Mature HAM/SAM processes for improved lifecycle tracking and license compliance.
  • Strengthen CMDB architecture to ensure data accuracy and automate discovery processes.
  • Optimize Change Management workflows to balance agility and risk assessment.
  • Implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  • Develop custom applications and functionalities as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership, business units, clients, external partners, and security practitioners to ensure successful platform delivery.

What you need:
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Technical Architect, Administrator, or Application Developer.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules mentioned in the role description.
  • Strong understanding of the ITIL framework.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web services.
  • Experience with Federal IT Compliance and operating in government/regulated environments.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or support multiple teams concurrently.
  • Capability to support business development, proposals, and solution estimation activities.
