Full Job Description
Job Description
Infoverity is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design, architecture, and technical delivery of enterprise data platform solutions. In this role, you will architect cloud lakehouse platforms, event-driven data distribution using publish/subscribe patterns (Kafka), and the integration architecture that connects operational systems, applications, and analytics - turning enterprise data into trusted, decision-ready assets.

Your solution portfolio will prioritize: lakehouse architecture on platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake; real-time and near-real-time data distribution through Kafka topics and streaming pipelines; operational data serving and syndication to downstream applications; and analytics, BI, and AI/ML enablement. You will define which platforms own which layers of the solution and how they interact, so the whole architecture works as one coherent system.

This position is ideal for a technically skilled professional who can partner directly with client stakeholders, translate complex business requirements into robust architecture, and guide delivery teams from strategy through implementation.

** This role can be done remote/hybrid. Relocation to Dublin, OH, is not required **

What You'll Do

Client Advisory and Leadership
• Partner with clients to understand their business goals and technical requirements, conducting workshops and proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate value.
• Develop solution implementation roadmaps, project plans, and task breakdowns; delegate to and guide engineering teams through delivery.
• Provide technical expertise during pre-sales, articulating the value proposition of proposed solutions - including ROI and TCO analysis - to client stakeholders up to the C-level.

Data Platform & Cloud Solution Architecture
• Develop comprehensive data architecture that unifies enterprise data across disparate systems.
• Design scalable, flexible solutions that integrate cloud, on-premises, and SaaS platforms.
• Architect lakehouse solutions that combine data lakes and warehouses for scalable, cost-effective processing, with clear layer ownership between operational serving and analytics consumption.
• Design event-driven data distribution using publish/subscribe patterns - Kafka topic design, schema management, and state/change-event streams that feed downstream operational systems in near-real time.
• Design pipelines and orchestration that reliably ingest, transform, and process data across batch, API, and streaming integration patterns.

Analytics, AI & Governance Enablement
• Architect reporting and analytics solutions using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit, and other BI platforms.
• Develop architectures that enable organizations to unlock predictive and generative insights.
• Design governance and data quality frameworks, and architect how MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica IDMC) interoperate with the broader lakehouse, streaming, and operational landscape.

Implementation & Team Enablement
• Guide implementation teams, establish best practices, and ensure solution quality.
• Deliver high-quality technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, integration patterns, and TCO models.
• Mentor junior architects, consultants, and engineers.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture or technical consulting.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platform solutions.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architecture.
• Knowledge of modern data platform and lakehouse concepts for flexible analytics.
• Proficiency in data integration patterns, API design, and system interoperability.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and publish/subscribe messaging (e.g., Kafka or comparable streaming platforms).
• Experience with data quality and governance frameworks.
• Technical skills in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications and designs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage work delegation.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with C-level stakeholders.
• Consulting experience with demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead engagements from strategy through implementation.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience serving healthcare organizations - providers, payers, group purchasing organizations (GPOs), or healthcare supply chain and services companies.
• Working knowledge of healthcare compliance and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA) and experience designing data architectures that handle regulated data appropriately.
• Depth with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, medallion architectures) plus broader experience across Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Apache Kafka / Confluent, including topic design, schema management, and change-data-capture patterns.
• Hands-on integration experience with MDM/PIM platforms (Informatica IDMC, Reltio, Stibo, Syndigo), connecting MDM hubs with lakehouse, analytics, and operational systems.
• Familiarity with CRM and business application ecosystems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse).
• Experience with AI/ML implementation and integration with data platforms.
• Experience designing or building custom applications and frontends on top of data platforms (e.g., React or similar frameworks, API-driven and headless UI patterns, Streamlit).
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform or similar tools.
• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Databricks certifications, etc.).
