What You Will Do:The Enterprise Architect will lead current-state and future-state architecture assessments supporting modernization of business processes, technology platforms, data environments, and operating models. The architect will develop enterprise-level views that support executive decision-making and modernization planning.
- Develop business, capability, data, application, and technology architecture artifacts.
- Document current-state architecture and operational interdependencies.
- Create target-state architecture models and modernization roadmaps.
- Analyze technical debt, risks, dependencies, and modernization readiness.
- Facilitate architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Assess cloud migration and platform rationalization opportunities.
- Support operating model and governance design activities.
- Develop executive architecture briefings and visualizations.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise technology, security, and data strategies.
What You Will Need:- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen due to nature of client engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Eight (8) years of enterprise, solution, or data architecture experience.
- Experience creating architecture artifacts and executive-level visualizations.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or FEAF.
- Experience assessing business, data, and technology architectures.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Work from client office in Washington, DC and Guidehouse office in Tyson's Corner, VA
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Master's degree in related field.
- TOGAF, AWS Architect, Azure Architect, Open CA, or similar certification.
- Federal government or financial services experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Experience with cloud architecture and data platforms.
- Experience in highly regulated environments.
The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
