Job Description

The Role:
We are seeking an Enterprise AI Platform Manager to own the reliability, scalability, governance, and evolution of enterprise AI search, assistant, agent, and workflow orchestration capabilities in a complex enterprise environment. This hybrid product and technical platform role will manage the platform roadmap, establish standards, oversee availability, performance, security, privacy, compliance, and lifecycle management, and partner with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure capabilities are delivered safely and efficiently. Serval is the current implementation of these capabilities. The ideal candidate combines strong platform ownership and service management experience with technical fluency, a pragmatic customer-focused approach to governance and continuous improvement, and the ability to align stakeholders and enable teams to build and run dependable AI-powered solutions.

What You'll Do:

Platform strategy
·      Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise AI platform capabilities, balancing business priorities, user needs, technical debt, scalability, operational health, and enterprise risk.
·      Manage the product backlog and prioritize future enhancements based on customer feedback, usage insights, platform performance, operational needs, and enterprise priorities.
·      Translate business and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements, measurable outcomes, and delivery plans.
·      Identify opportunities to improve enterprise AI search, assistant, agent, and workflow orchestration capabilities, adoption, and value across the enterprise.

Platform reliability
·      Own platform availability, performance, scalability, security, resilience, privacy, compliance, and lifecycle management.
·      Establish standards for observability, incident and problem management, release readiness, change management, service continuity, and operational support.
·      Partner with engineering and operations teams to monitor platform health, resolve issues, and drive continuous reliability and supportability improvements.
·      Define service-level objectives and operational metrics, using data to guide prioritization and investment decisions.

Governance and continuous improvement
·      Establish and maintain platform standards, processes, and governance that support secure, compliant, consistent, and responsible delivery of enterprise AI capabilities.
·      Assess platform risks, dependencies, and opportunities for modernization, and develop plans to address them.
·      Lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen platform quality, maintainability, supportability, user experience, and trust.
·      Ensure platform architecture, operating procedures, decisions, and dependencies are documented for transparency and future enhancements.

Collaboration and enablement
·      Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, product teams, operations, security, UX, and business stakeholders in a highly matrixed, global environment.
·      Serve as the central point of alignment for platform priorities, delivery commitments, operational health, governance decisions, and stakeholder communication.

Build strong partnerships with platform consumers and enable teams to adopt enterprise AI capabilities effectively.
·      Champion practices that promote reliability, security, privacy, compliance, responsible AI, and user trust across the enterprise AI platform ecosystem.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
·      3–7+ years of experience managing, operating, or owning an enterprise technology platform, with experience in complex enterprise environments.
·      Experience managing or operating an enterprise AI, search, assistant, agent, or workflow automation platform.
·      Experience defining platform strategy, managing roadmaps and backlogs, establishing governance, and driving continuous improvement.
·      Strong understanding of platform reliability, service management, operational readiness, incident and problem management, security, privacy, compliance, and lifecycle management.
·      Technical fluency sufficient to understand platform architecture, integrations, dependencies, operational metrics, and engineering tradeoffs, and to partner effectively with engineering teams; hands-on software development is not required.
·      Strong communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and collaboration skills, with the ability to align technical and business partners in a matrixed organization.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
·      Experience with Serval or similar enterprise AI search, assistant, agent, or workflow orchestration platforms.
·      Experience integrating enterprise data sources, configuring tools, or designing agents and workflows within an AI platform.
·      Experience with Microsoft 365 and AI assistants, such as Copilot, or other enterprise collaboration ecosystems.
·      Familiarity with observability and telemetry for AI systems, including logging, tracing, quality dashboards, and operational metrics.
