As an Enterprise Account Management Lead, you'll be responsible for managing the team of senior account managers who are growing the revenue from the Enterprise customer base, as well as setting the vision and strategy to build long-term partnerships with our customers. You'll collaborate cross-functionally across our Product function and other Go-To-Market teams to help build solutions that drive team and customer success. As our business rapidly expands, we're looking for an action-oriented team leader who can also hire strategically - bringing the right relationship managers into our business and enabling them to steward the next phase of Plaid's growth and impact.

Ideal candidates will have experience in fintech working with enterprise clients, in mentoring and managing teams, setting and hitting revenue goals, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and analyzing customer trends to identify new growth opportunities. We are looking for a leader who is thoughtful, proactive, and creative when problem solving, and is comfortable operating in ambiguity with limited oversight.

Responsibilities:
  • Engaging directly with C-level executives to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Building and executing the strategy that drives upsell/cross-sell revenue and renewals at scale, and operationalizing the process to drive team efficiency
  • Working in a high-pace, cross-functional environment that presents different challenges every day.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and developing a world-class account management team and deliver on revenue targets for the business
  • Motivating and inspiring each team member to enable personal and professional career growth
  • Working with leadership across the company to set direction for the Enterprise team, and Plaid as a whole

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of professional experience, 5+ years managing a revenue-driving team
  • Proven track record of success driving revenue results at a technology company; strong preference towards those with prior experience in finances services or with banking and wealth management firms as clients
  • Consultative sales approach with a product-centric mindset
  • Strong ability to articulate complex technical solutions and financial value prop - internally for cross-functional collaboration and externally to customers, including an executive audience
  • Strong analytical skills to understand customer trends at scale
  • Desire to get (more) technical and the ability to learn the ins and outs of Plaid's APIs
  • Excitement for recruiting, onboarding, and coaching; a thoughtful approach to team planning and development
  • Ability to create strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication skills to drive internal alignment and results
