What you’ll be doing...Principle responsibilities are to implement transport circuits for the Domestic US Verizon networks nationwide. This role will be responsible for engineering and installing circuits to Verizon and Verizon Wireless locations utilizing Verizon core networks; Intelligent Edge Network (iEN), Unified Transport, Voice and Data and Internal Data Core networks.
- Maintaining path, router, diversity and best cost routing while overseeing the provisioning of transport to support multiple networks and product types.
- Maintaining accurate circuit inventory within multiple systems and plays a lead role in vendor management documenting and tracking key performance indicators.
- Managing complex projects to support transport growth, migrations, disconnects and new installs to support the nationwide data and voice networks.
- Tracking financial costs and savings.
What we’re looking for...You will need to have:
- Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
- Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Experience provisioning high and low bandwidth circuits.
- Layer 1,2 and 3 circuit testing and troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency in engineering tools & applications.
- Project management skills.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related Technology / Computer Science.
- Knowledge of Telecom Engineering, Network Build Process, Transport Capacity Management, Experience with Telecommunications networks.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision as an individual and team environment.
- Superior teamwork and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $82,000.00 - $134,000.00.
