Full Job Description
Responsibilities

The Sponsor conducts technical analysis and provides guidance on projects across all disciplines, to include assessments and consultations with various stakeholders and government entities. The Sponsor maintains technical project knowledge of all geographic areas and provides evaluations with regional project leads upon request. The Sponsor leverages technical knowledge, combined with subject matter expertise, to conduct these activities in support of its corporate office and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Work closely with stakeholders to share subject matter expertise on technology, assess and communicate risks and accomplishments to the technical mission.
  • Review reports to produce guidance on inherent or known risks and mitigations surrounding the use of specific technologies.
  • Analyze functional business applications and design specifications.
  • Perform technical security and risk assessments and draft assessment reports and memoranda.
  • Develop and provide system assessment briefings.
  • Attend Sponsor meetings and activities related to assignments.
  • Validate and verify operational and technical requirements.
  • Address system non-compliance via the use of established standards and regulations.
  • Assess and mitigate system vulnerabilities, threats, and risks throughout project lifecycles.
  • Recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Interact with various stakeholders.

All personnel coming into the organization undergo an additional security review that can take anywhere from 7 business days to 30+ days.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Demonstrated experience in Information Engineering, IT Security, Satellites, or a related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management.
  • Demonstrated experience with the security aspects of enterprise-level complex networks.
  • Demonstrated experience performing risk analysis and risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience with system testing and analysis.
  • Must have the ability to travel, as needed, and on short notice, if requested.

Desired:
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's enterprise and operational activities, capabilities, and technical development programs.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing policy, systems, and applications with the Sponsor's partners.
  • Demonstrated experience with the security aspects of the Sponsor's operational complex networks.
  • Demonstrated experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data from available systems, in both oral and written form.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects across multiple management levels.
