Full Job Description
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineering Senior Manager for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Drive end-to-end delivery of software tools-based solutions for business and technology teams, establishing modern architecture, and fostering engineering-centric operating models. Assist with the automation of software delivery, enhancing DevOps practices, and strategically modernizing developer toolchains and enterprise-level tooling. Oversee software development team functions to ensure optimal system performance and availability. Guide operations for development of data tool systems and facilitate the adoption of data-driven software development tools and Artificial Intelligence-based solutions. Govern application operations to ensure rigorous compliance with enterprise standards and information security, proactively identifying and mitigating risks. Manage prioritization and risk management, while guiding the Tools Data team, which includes product owners, developers, and testers. Utilize core development, collaboration, and visualization tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Tableau, Figma, GitHub, and Artificial Intelligence agentic development tools (DevinAI, Copilot,Cursor, Claudecode) to improve the efficiency of continuous integration, code delivery, enhance DevOps, boost productivity, and systematically resolve compliance issues. Ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption of business processes within managed tools. Lead the implementation of strategic technology stacks and conduct comprehensive project planning, including strategic and roadmap planning. Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of tool usage data for labor, infrastructure, and license cost estimates. Assist with budget oversight and policy formulation by aligning development requests with business standards. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Science or related field and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an Engineering Senior Manager, Engineering Lead Analyst, Architecture Lead Analyst, Architecture Senior Analyst, Consultant, Software Engineer or related position developing banking applications for a global financial services institution. 6 years of experience must include: Software Engineering and testing;
Technology Project Management using Agile; Working with external consultants; Systems Administration; Data Analytics using SQL, Python; and Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Tableau, Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, Git (Bitbucket), JUnit, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Collaboration Platforms, Linux/Unix, Windows Server, VMware, VirtualBox, AWS, Grafana, Splunk, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Jupyter Notebooks, Tableau, Power BI, Machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn), Anaconda, VS Code, Jenkins.
