Engineering - Manufacturing Engineer | Oldsmar, Florida, United States Engineering - Manufacturing Engineer Location: Oldsmar, FL, 34677 - United States Experience: 15 Years Shift: Mon-Thurs, 5 AM-3:30 PM EST About the Role Join a forward-thinking engineering team as a Manufacturing Engineer focused on optimizing production processes for circuit card assemblies (CCA), cable harnesses, and electromechanical subassemblies. You will collaborate closely with design and operations teams, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities - Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts for CCAs and module assemblies. - Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with design engineering to drive production improvements. - Support the production floor, troubleshooting issues and leading continuous improvement initiatives. - Develop, procure, and implement specialized tooling to enhance manufacturing efficiency. - Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans to maintain product quality. - Inspect machinery and equipment performance, initiating corrective actions to resolve deficiencies. - Advise engineering teams on design concepts and specification requirements for optimal manufacturing. - Ensure all processes and procedures comply with industry regulations and company specifications. Required Skills and Experience - 15 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a relevant industry. - Deep understanding of circuit card assembly processes. - Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering prints. - Excellent process design and implementation skills. - Strong English reading/writing proficiency. - Physical capability to walk stairs and lift at least 20 lbs. Preferred Skills - Experience with cable harness assembly processes. - Knowledge of electromechanical subassembly manufacturing. - Process documentation/writing expertise.
