Responsibilities - Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts for CCAs and module assemblies. - Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with design engineering to drive production improvements. - Support the production floor, troubleshooting issues and leading continuous improvement initiatives. - Develop, procure, and implement specialized tooling to enhance manufacturing efficiency. - Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans to maintain product quality. - Inspect machinery and equipment performance, initiating corrective actions to resolve deficiencies. - Advise engineering teams on design concepts and specification requirements for optimal manufacturing. - Ensure all processes and procedures comply with industry regulations and company specifications. Required Skills and Experience - 15 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a relevant industry. - Deep understanding of circuit card assembly processes. - Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering prints. - Excellent process design and implementation skills. - Strong English reading/writing proficiency. - Physical capability to walk stairs and lift at least 20 lbs. Preferred Skills - Experience with cable harness assembly processes. - Knowledge of electromechanical subassembly manufacturing. - Process documentation/writing expertise.
