Full Job Description
The Harness and Distribution Design and Execution Manager will develop complex systems/components and technical solutions according to requirements, planning and realizing modifications.
  • Develop & deploy corporate best practice strategies & complexity strategies for each commodity.
  • Develop engineering resources to build technical & business skill sets.
  • Balance resources across vehicle lines, programs, projects.
  • Participate in team led by the Brands to define VoC for each commodity/Sponsor Core DFSS projects.
  • Develop & deploy best practice documentation.
  • Conduct commodity benchmarking activities.
  • Drive robust, quality, cost and weight efficient designs that meet program objectives.
  • Drive component commonality, re-use, and consistency across vehicle lines (including fasteners and Joint designs).
  • Drive innovation and develops implementation strategies.
  • Develop & maintain DFMEA's, PFMEA's, DVP&R's, Performance Standards, Process Standards. Approved supplier-led documents.
  • Conduct vehicle level system test(s).
  • Develop & maintain corporate expertise on product, process, and tooling design.
  • Main interface with Core Wire Harness team
  • Develop and maintain Quality Gate risk assessment templates.
  • Maintain strategic relationship with other functional areas.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Systems, or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years in automotive product development within complex, multi-program environments
  • A minimum of 3 years in technical or program leadership roles.
  • Experience owning low- and/or high-voltage wiring harness systems across multiple vehicle platforms.
  • Proven leadership of Design Leads (DLs), DREs, and Tier-1 supplier engineering teams, including performance management and technical mentorship.
  • Expertise in wiring harness architecture and integration (routing, segmentation, grounding, protection, connection systems).
  • End-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle from concept through launch, production, and warranty resolution.
  • Strong command of bill of material, requirements flow-down and release processes
  • Direct experience approving DFMEA, DVPR, validation results, PPAP, and leading APQP and launch activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional execution (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Program Management) and warranty/Gemba-based root-cause resolution.
  • Ability to operate with executive-level visibility, making high-impact technical and organizational decisions under ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or MBA.
  • Prior role as Engineering/Discipline Manager, Project Engineer, or Chief Engineer.
  • Knowledge of Stellantis platforms, systems, and engineering standards, with exposure to global, multi-region vehicle programs.
