The RoleAs a
Manager, Digital Workspace, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of Senior Engineers and technical specialists responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting modern workplace solutions. You will drive the delivery of secure, productive, and seamless end-user experiences for Presidio's enterprise clients while serving as a strategic leader and trusted advisor.
This role focuses on Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), endpoint management, modern SharePoint architecture, Microsoft Copilot, collaboration tools, identity/access management, and hybrid/on-premises environments. You will combine strong technical oversight with team leadership, client-facing consulting, talent development, and operational excellence to support practice growth and billable delivery.
You will help clients modernize their digital workspaces, emphasizing security, user experience, AI-powered productivity via Microsoft Copilot, robust SharePoint information architecture, automation, compliance, and business outcomes.
Responsibilities Include:Team Leadership & People Management- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Digital Workspace Engineers and technical staff, including performance management, career development, hiring, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement aligned with Presidio's core values.
- Provide technical guidance, escalation support, and quality oversight on complex client engagements.
- Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and professional development within the team.
Strategy & Planning- Define and execute the Digital Workspace practice strategy, including service offerings, standards, and roadmaps focused on Microsoft 365 modernization, SharePoint architecture, and Microsoft Copilot adoption.
- Collaborate with architects, sales teams, delivery leadership, and clients to align solutions with business objectives (e.g., hybrid work, security posture, AI enablement, and cost optimization).
- Develop and maintain standards, policies, governance frameworks, and best practices for digital workspace technologies, with emphasis on SharePoint information architecture and Copilot governance.
Operational Management & Support- Ensure high availability, performance, security, and SLA compliance for client digital workspaces.
- Champion automation, monitoring, reporting (including Copilot utilization and SharePoint adoption metrics), and continual service improvement.
- Act as a senior escalation point and subject matter expert in client meetings, workshops, and executive discussions.
- Contribute to presales support, solution design, and practice development initiatives.
Additional Duties- Support business development, proposal efforts, and revenue growth for the Digital Workspace practice.
- Stay current with Microsoft, Copilot, SharePoint, and related ecosystem advancements to drive innovation.
Required Skills and Professional Experience:- 10+ years of progressive experience in digital workspace / Microsoft 365 engineering and consulting, including 5+ years in a people leadership or management role.
- Proven success leading teams delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 solutions, modern SharePoint architecture, and Microsoft Copilot enablement.
- Strong hands-on background with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, Autopilot), Active Directory, hybrid identity, endpoint management, security (Conditional Access, Zero Trust), and collaboration platforms.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance
