We are looking for an Engineering Manager, MCB/MCCB. This position will be based in Peachtree Corners GA, supporting low-voltage power distribution engineering operations. Siemens is seeking an experienced engineering leader to build and lead a dedicated team focused on advancing our miniature circuit breaker (MCB) and molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) product lines. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and shaping the future of low-voltage power distribution. You will lead a high-performing team, collaborate globally, and deliver solutions that enhance safety, reliability, and sustainability for our North American customers.
You'll make a difference by: - Building and leading a high-performing engineering team focused on miniature circuit breakers (MCB) and molded case circuit breakers (MCCB)
- Building a strong culture of safety, ownership, collaboration, technical rigor, and continuous learning and development across the team.
- Owning technical execution across the entire product lifecycle including product development, design changes, testing, validation and certification.
- Managing the portfolio of R&D projects, resources, priorities, tradeoffs and budgets while communicating to leadership and stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement in design, cost effectiveness, testing, validation, and speed of execution.
- Ensuring products and engineering decisions comply with UL 489 and other applicable UL, NEC, and ANSI requirements relevant to circuit protection and associated equipment.
- Working closely with factory teams to support manufacturability, quality, productivity and timely resolution of issues.
- Interfacing with cross functional teams including Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain to translate business and customer needs into executable technical plans
- Overseeing product lifecycle changes through structured engineering change control procedures.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with the following:
- Product development, engineering, or technical leadership within the electromechanical products industry.
- Leading engineering teams and complex product or lifecycle projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Working knowledge of UL 489 and familiarity with related UL standards for circuit breakers, panelboards, and associated protective devices.
- Product design, verification and validation, regulatory certification, engineering change control, and structured problem-solving.
- Scoping, planning, and executing complex engineering projects, including resource plans, schedules, budgets, and business cases that support technical and investment decisions.
- Collaborating with manufacturing organizations and geographically distributed teams.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including regular collaboration with the factory team, based on business needs up to 10%.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: - Direct experience with miniature circuit breakers, molded case circuit breakers, or related low-voltage circuit protection products.
- Experience working with UL or other third-party certification organizations and translating standards requirements into product and test requirements.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems such as routings, bills of materials (BOMs), and configuration control.
- Experience with research and development (R&D) cost center ownership, budget planning and forecasting, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) justification processes for R&D investments.
- Ability to apply creativity, strategic thinking, and technical judgment to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Ability to navigate diverse perspectives, build consensus, and support effective decision-making.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as CREO and Teamcenter, tolerance analysis, simulation, test data analysis, and engineering documentation.
- Spanish language proficiency is helpful but not required.

The pay range for this position is $122,951 - $210,773 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
