The Engineering Manager plans, organizes and directs engineering to meet company objectives for design, new product development and improvement of existing product lines. Key Responsibilities • Support the CARE values of the organization. • Lead, mentor, and manage engineering/design staff and drafters • Assign workloads and monitor project timelines and deliverables. • Establish engineering standards, workflows, and best practices. • Oversee creation of detailed cabinet shop drawings and production documentation. • Ensure engineering accuracy for custom cabinetry, millwork, and related components. • Maintain engineering standards for construction methods, hardware, and materials. • Manage and optimize Cabinet Vision software configuration and standards. • Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency. • Support CNC programming and machine integration. • Resolve engineering-related production issues quickly and effectively. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education combination • Advanced proficiency with Cabinet Vision • 4 to 6 years of experience in a production environment. • Supervisory/management experience.
