Compensation : $120,000-$150,000 + bonus
Overview :
An industry leading manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee electrical capital projects and provide automation support across a large industrial facility. This role involves managing a team of electrical engineers, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of up to 75 projects annually. Areas of focus may include production lines, utilities, environmental systems, and maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Mentor electrical engineers and foster professional development through cross-functional exposure.
- Champion safety initiatives and promote a culture of accountability.
- Lead project planning, budgeting, and execution from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to identify and implement technical solutions.
- Provide guidance on equipment reliability, failure analysis, and system optimisation.
- Manage project documentation, procurement, and contractor oversight.
- Support outage planning and lead major maintenance and rebuild efforts.
Qualifications :
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering - required
- 6+ years in industrial manufacturing (paper/pulp, packaging, mining, chemicals or related)
- Strong people leadership and project management experience
