The OpportunityWe're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our DevOps team as we scale infrastructure across multiple regions and push toward continuous deployment. You'll own the platform engineering function - developer experience, infrastructure reliability, and the systems that let MaintainX move fast without breaking things.
What You'll Do:- Lead a team of platform and DevOps engineers: set direction, remove blockers, and develop talent.
- Own the DevOps roadmap, balancing developer experience improvements, platform efficiency, and infrastructure reliability.
- Partner with product engineering teams to build the tooling and self-service capabilities that let them own their deployments.
- Partner with the security team to ensure compliance across our environments, and to offer a safe and secure platform upon which the development teams can thrive
- Drive infrastructure strategy across cloud, container orchestration, CI/CD, and observability.
- Hire, onboard, and grow a high-performing team.
- Provide clear visibility into team progress, risks, and outcomes to engineering leadership.
About You:- 4+ years of Engineering management experience with a background in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
- You've shipped production infrastructure, understand cloud-native systems, and can engage on hard technical problems with your team.
- Track record of measurably improving developer experience and platform reliability at scale.
- Strong communicator who can translate infrastructure complexity for product and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to hire and build high-performing technical teams.
- Comfortable leading teams that use AI-assisted development tools as a core part of their workflow.
Nice to Have:- Hands-on experience with multi-region environments, infrastructure as code, and modern CI/CD platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance-driven infrastructure (SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO270001 or similar).
- Experience scaling a DevOps function in a fast-growth SaaS environment.
