[Responsibilities] - Design, develop, and install robust database management systems for electronic design applications. - Analyze, evaluate, and optimize relational database architecture, metadata, repositories, and configuration management processes. - Utilize data mapping, mining, and transformation tools to enhance database development. - Determine data storage and ensure optimal storage solutions for complex engineering requirements. - Prepare system and source analysis, and process documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle. - Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate database solutions across product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, focusing on Siemens Xpedition and EDM. - Identify process improvement opportunities within ECAD PLM workflows and implement automation solutions. [Required Skills and Experience] - Minimum 15 years' experience as a Database Architect/Engineer in electronics or related fields. - Extensive background in PCB/CCA design and knowledge of the electronics design lifecycle. - Hands-on experience with Siemens Xpedition and Siemens EDM. - Strong understanding of electronic product lifecycle management and multi-disciplinary team integration. - Proficient in analyzing ECAD PLM processes for optimization within Siemens toolsets. - Practical knowledge of scripting languages such as VBScript and Python for automation. [Preferred Skills] - Proficiency in scripting and automating workflows using the Xpedition API. - Experience creating and managing library parts within the Siemens tool suite. - Demonstrated capability in PCB design, fabrication, or assembly for rigid and rigid-flex CCAs. - Familiarity with additional EDA tools, including Zuken, Altium, and Cadence.
