Responsibilities

Could you be the full-time Special Tools & Bench Test Equipment Engineer in St-Bruno we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge railway environment. You'll work alongside passionate, collaborative, and innovative teammates.

In this role as part of the Integrated Services Readiness team, you will be responsible for the complete follow-up of customer deliverables related to special maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment, from design through delivery. You will ensure all deliverables are submitted on time and fully comply with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities
  • Analyzing customer technical specifications to identify requirements related to special maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Evaluating suppliers' technical proposals.
  • Reviewing and approving technical packages submitted by suppliers, including drawings and technical descriptions.
  • Participating in design reviews with suppliers and customers.
  • Monitoring and following up on equipment manufacturing and delivery.
  • Supporting installation and commissioning activities at customer sites.
  • Planning and coordinating technical activities related to the equipment under your responsibility.
  • Reviewing and approving test procedures used to validate equipment design.
  • Participating in qualification testing at supplier facilities.
  • Designing maintenance diagnostic equipment and related maintenance tools.
