Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or comparable field.
• 6 months or more relevant experience preferred, but recent graduates encouraged.
• Experience in semiconductor research or manufacturing, not mandatory.
• Direct experience with automated optical inspection is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with automated defect classification and machine learning is advantageous.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DoE) is beneficial.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools like Matlab, Python, or Spotfire is required.

Responsibilities

• Own metrology development for SAW research and manufacturing.
• Develop recipes and identify/classify defects for AOI systems.
• Create recipes and analyze data for various in-line measurement techniques.
• Design and implement metrology controls for new technologies in high volume production.
• Collaborate with BAW integration engineers to address project needs and technical challenges.
• Solve technical problems, both independently and collaboratively.
• Manage the transition of metrology from development to high volume manufacturing, hitting project milestones.
• Implement process monitoring and controls for manufacturing processes.
