This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Job Overview

As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems to ensure products and processes meet company standards and customer requirements. This role supports manufacturing operations through quality planning, inspection, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies (SPC, FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma)
  • Experience with quality management systems and industry standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CSSBB)
  • Master's degree in Quality, Engineering or related field
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of automated inspection systems and CMM programming
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
