Following best project management practices and Division guidelines and manuals, you'll work primarily on facility projects - from initiation, scoping, and gathering of background information, to assisting the client and manager in preparing the capital budget and executing projects through to warranty completion. For projects you manage or support, it will be your responsibility for ensuring that all required permits and approvals are secured, stakeholders are identified and consulted, projects remain on schedule, expenditures are within budget and annual cash flow estimates, contract payments are finalized, and quality control / quality assurance measures are implemented (for both design and construction phases).

You're also well equipped to prepare engineering analyses, justifications and evaluations to recommend change orders for senior management approval, advise on major issues, and provide sound recommendations on technical, contractual and project-related matters. You'll conduct research and development for the effective resolution of engineering issues, as well as initiate and lead technical studies and projects.
